5 things i liked this week

Thought I might try to practice some gratitude journalling, but by sharing things I've liked/enjoyed/read/watched in the last week.

  1. Dave's Killer Bread Cinnamon Raisin Bagels. These are actually incredible. My husband and I are both obsessed, so we've bought two bags for next week as we both get ready to return to office as new parents. Their regular bagels are also bomb.

  2. The show Sex Education on Netflix. Rewatching for the first time since it originally came out, as my husband has never seen it and really enjoying it again. It's so sweet and I love the mother/son relationship.

  3. "Cicada," by Sega Bodega, ft. Arca. I became a big fan of his work with his release of Dennis in 2024 and the first few times I tried to get into this specific song, it didn't really hit for me. Now? NOW it hits. It's been on repeat!! Song of the summer!!

  4. "The quiet grief of adult friendship" by Pranav Jain. A beautiful and succinct piece about how isolating adulthood can be. I genuinely think friend breakups can be just as heartbreaking - if not more so - than a romantic relationship and more of us need to admit that!

  5. This walking pad from Kingsmith, after being on the fence about getting one for almost a year now. Though now it appears to be sold out AND more expensive than when I bought it... It is a lot nicer than I was expecting and I'm happy to have a way to get some steps at my office now.
