what's in my bag?
i love a good what's in my bag post. i'm finally making one. it's been a long time coming...
i just recently got this 'mini shoulder bag' from baggu. the girlies on that subreddit are next level insane, in my opinion. they have collections of 20+, 30+, 50+ bags from there and it's like. are you not satisfied? i have a couple in different silhouettes, but good lord. they also seem to be obsessed with carrying around as many things as humanly possible and i am NOT that girl!! i like a small bag, that i can fit a few essentials in, that's not weighing me down or breaking my back. i enjoy walking!!
firstly, what's ON my bag:
- 'remove before flight' keychain. i was inspired by this jacket i have from alpha industries that has the same tag on the sleeve. the jacket was a gift and i never wear it. the keychain was from amazon for like $5.
- a pochacco keychain. a sanrio character i just think is cute. i need to figure out how to gently wash this bc it's starting to look a little... dirty. was like $6 but from ebay.
secondly, at absolute capacity, this is what i might be carrying around at any given time:
- kindle. it's an 11th gen, that's all i know about it!
- a6 midori notebook (graph paper) with clear cover and a pen (appears to be a pentel pen, i genuinely have no i idea where this came from but i do really like it)
- a bandana -- it gets super hot here and i like to wear it instead of putting my hair up or just in general to protect my scalp from the sun
- iphone 13. i love her, she's pink! the case is from pela.
- my precious and beloved wallet, from porter japan. they stopped making this silhouette like years ago, which is devastating. i really want another one, but alas!!
- a digicam of my choice. this is the nikon coolpix s220, which is super portable and takes my absolute favorite pictures of water i've ever seen.
- marin lip treatment. the best chapstick ever and very necessary in the desert.
- a baby baggu for extra storage (which is almost never necessary lol)
- keys. the alligator keychain is from NOLA, my second hometown, and the bottle opener is from my first hometown/a prize from trivia.
- some extra hair ties. you never know!
- gum!! i keep that mf'in thang on me.
- airpods. i love music. and i'm not psychotic, i won't be blasting audio from my phone in public like some people.
in the interior zip pocket, that's usually where i'm keeping some tampons, liners, and a small pill case of ibuprofen.
i just think this is such a good and cute little bag size. it works perfectly for me. i am not a giant bag girlie. if more of my pants had pockets, i would probably just be a phone, keys, wallet girl 100% of the time.
